the boy in striped pajamas chapters 13-16
These chapters were sad and somewhat interesting. It was sad that Pavel and Shmuel got beaten by Lieutenant Kotler. That was sad because the Lieutenant thinks that he is better than everyone else. On the other hand, it was somewhat interesting because Bruno's friend Shmuel is in Bruno's house cleaning the glasses for the party. This was interesting because it is the first time that Shmuel is in Bruno's house and Bruno and Shmuel talk to each other. Despite the fact that Shmuel gets beaten up for having chicken that was for the party. Another reason why that this chapter was interesting was that Bruno got his hair shaved because of lice. This was interesting because he looks somewhat (just being bald) like his friend, Shmuel. This is why I found these chapters to be sad and somewhat interesting.

I dislike Lt. Kotler. He is so mean. It is just sickening. I was so glad that Shmuel finally as able to get out of the camp for a little bit. The Lt. shouldn't have yelled at either boy. I would hate lice because my hair is long. i also would hate to get all of my hair shaved off. I love my hair long. These chapter were sad, but they held your attention.
These chapter are interesting in how that Samuel is used to clean bottles but sad because of the violence. SO i have to agree with you.
